    Hello from sunny Broadstairs

    Hello everyone,

Just done the deal on a new 2008 Varadero non-ABS Black/Silver. We do a little off tarmac so wanted the non-ABS version and saved some cash on the 2008 by avoiding the 1st of April price increases Honda are introducing.
Currently riding a Triumph Tiger 955i but the pillion comfort is far superior on the Vara and my wifes knees just can't take it anymore. We must have test rode everyting under the sun from a Buell XB12XT to BMW K1300 GT but the Vara wins hands down for our needs.

Should be taking delivery 2nd week in April

I have already been bothering AfricaJim off list for information so I know one of you already

    Regards, Ian

And there was me hoping for a long ride out

Swing by Margate for your kiss me quick hats but the fish and chips are better in Broadstairs.

I try to avoid men with odd shaped balls... the old ones are always the best! They have a nice new club house now.

Heres another connection, I share your wife's birthday, all the best people are sagitauriuns

Talking of old ones, Ramsgate for the Continent, Broadstairs for the incontinent.

You'll be good for Hastings on May Day then?
Now reduced to a Peugeot estate and a bicycle with a trailer on it.

LOL... you can tell how old that joke is by suggesting Ramsgate has a ferry service!

    Hastings sounds good to me

The plan is to run the bike in during April and then another 1000 on to bed everything in good and well before a trip to Ireland at the end of May so the Hastings run will help.

I just read up on the longest day run... if we stayed long enough in Ireland we could do it on the way back
