    Soon to be Transalp Owner!

Hiya, Hoping to pick up my '01 transalp in the next week or so, so thought it might be an idea to jjoin up somewhere that knew a bit about them. Been on a TDR, V Strom, Bandit, CB5 and back to a TDR in the last year so here's hoping i'm happy with the transalp and i don't have to change again!! TB

    Welcome to the forum,
The Transalp is a very capable bike, more relaxed riding position and not likely to put your licence at risk.
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE

It's not a case of whether we can fix it or not - it's more a case of how fixed would you like it?

Nope, not me. Currently on Anglesey, North Wales visiting my folks for Easter. Won't be back to the City of the Tribes 'til late next week.

Mine's a silver '04 Transalp, if you see it about anytime. It has discrete XRV stickers on the fairing - and bloody huge Grave crashbars as well.
