Re: first transalp

Welcome Dave and good luck with the project. I am just finishing a restoration job on an 88 TA, its been a labour of love that's taken a couple of years mainly down to lack of finance but also time, it would have taken even longer if I'd been left to fend for myself on the technical front but fortunately, like you have, I decided to join this forum and the help, advice (not to mention the p*ss taking/banter) and the knowledge that can be found in the "forums" section have seen me through. One thing I didn't do was take photos before and during so no record of progress or what a state the bike was in when I got it in 3 Tea chests. Don't forget to do that.
