    hi from sunny hampshire

hi all. i know its not my 1st post , but just found this section my name is den

i live in sunny gosport and use the hampshire byways on my xr250r. i bought it a few weeks back and got to ride it home. the next day i went out on it and managed to do this

so a few weeks later i am now back on the road again .....and loving every minute. the xr is soo light compared to my old ktm 350 exc. and teh kick start is on the correct side now as well ...

i also own a not very standard tl1000r and a land rover 110 that gets used for real ...

looking forward to getting out with some of you in the future for sure....

    Welcome to the forum.
How did you mange to do that?
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE

    Re: hi from sunny hampshire

i was on the road when it let go..... i was running at 50mph when it went. no warnings, just cut out. on having the head off we discovered that the scrapped ring was siezed. in the space of 40 miles or so it had eaten all the oil in the engine

well thats what we think anyway ....its almost run in now so an oil change coming up soon and out to play for real again
