    Greetings from Cadiff

or, as it should read, Greetings from Cardiff !
Hello, I'm the proud new owner of a 2004 TransAlp, which I picked up last Saturday. It's my first big bike - I only sat my test about 3 weeks ago having previously ridden a 125 until about 1992. The TransAlp quickly put me at my ease, being comfortable, controllable, and surprisingly stable in gusting wind, even going over the Severn Bridge. I'm keeping fingers and toes crossed for some fine weather, when I can relax and enjoy riding without having to dodge wet manhole covers etc!

Hello and welcome to the forum.
The Transalp is a great bike for the beginner to get into big bikes. very forgiving and easy to ride.
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE
