    Smile Hi from Falkirk!

Hi, I'm new to this forum, although I have been watching it for a while. It was some of the comments here that helped me make my mind up about getting a new Transalp XL700.

I've had it for three months now. I opted for the white and blue model.

So far it has been fantastic, not as fast as my last bike (ZZR 1100....), but I dont feel that I am going to get arrested everytime I venture out on the roads

The handling is very reassuring and the riding position is very comfortable. I love it.

The only criticism I have is that it should have 6 gears. Top gear feels a bit low. My local dealer fitted a bigger front cog (1 tooth more) onto their demonstrator and that seemed to make it better. I'll look out for more info on this.

Anyway, I look forward to seeing you all out on the roads!

Hello and welcome to the forum.
That is in my opinion the best colour for the 700.
Glad you like it, now where are the photos?
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE

    Hi DNH

    Welcome to the forums.

Yip, that white and blue TA is very nice, I was looking at one in my local dealer.. I especially love the gold rims.

    I have a late 650 , live in Aberdeen ..

    See you around ..
