Hi, I'm new to this forum, although I have been watching it for a while. It was some of the comments here that helped me make my mind up about getting a new Transalp XL700.
I've had it for three months now. I opted for the white and blue model. So far it has been fantastic, not as fast as my last bike (ZZR 1100....), but I dont feel that I am going to get arrested everytime I venture out on the roads The handling is very reassuring and the riding position is very comfortable. I love it. The only criticism I have is that it should have 6 gears. Top gear feels a bit low. My local dealer fitted a bigger front cog (1 tooth more) onto their demonstrator and that seemed to make it better. I'll look out for more info on this. Anyway, I look forward to seeing you all out on the roads! |

Re: Hi from Falkirk!
Hello and welcome to the forum.
That is in my opinion the best colour for the 700. Glad you like it, now where are the photos?
