just joined and been reading some of your letters and now got one of my own. Rev counter jumping l to r engine stalling then cut out now will not start again.last time it did this i got a new starter coil plug and plug cap and ran fine till now any thoughts
...and carry the two.....

sorry its a xl600lmf 85 had it for 2 1/2 years

she live's found it was a dry joint in the cdi unit got info from net under cdi units then known problems had a look at what they had done and then did the same. now need to get hold of a new 1
