Enough dicking around...
After 3 years of shall I by an AT, a microlight, a Thai bride or a heart by pass for the hamster, I've settled on getting an AT and hence joining up here.
I live on the Isle of Wight although I'm a frequent European traveller. I've been known to jump in the car at a days notice and end up in places such as Eastern Europe for the hell of it (an understanding woman helps
) and am hoping to do it a lot more often and easier on an AT.
I hope to contribute in the future after I've bored you with some questions, although bike choice won't be one of them. It has to be the RD04

Welcome to the site mate, I'm sure you'll find it entertaining here!
RD04, good choice, best of the bunch!
As exciting as the Microlite, cheaper than a Thai bride and what's a hamster???
I do a lot of travelling too, heading to Europe next month, hope to meet you on the road some time mate

Re: Enough dicking around...
Thanks Jim.
It'd be good to hook up with someone or some 'people' for a European jaunt when I get the bike. Living close to the French and Spanish ferries helps my end and North West Spain will probably be my first crack. West Africa which I know well under foot I'd like to think is on the cards, but for now I need to source a quality RD04 as a B-day present to myself this August.
Good luck In Europe and hopefully you'll be posting up a ride report?
As for hamsters they're similar to a rat but even more of a PITA.

Welcome to the forum.
A great choice of bike. Hard to get hold of since they are becoming rare collectables now.
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE
