    Long time biker, forum newie!

Just joined this forum - had a m/c license 40+ years and an AT since '95. Off to Europe later this month and wondered if anyone had experience of touring in Switzerland - regs and rules etc. - are they the same as EU zone?
Also any news on French speed cameras - are they as well hidden as some people tell me?
Mine's a 04 model I bought in South Africa and rode it most of the way home. It's my 2 wheel Range Rover.

Hello and welcome to the forums.
The speed cameras in France are fairly visible, they look like big gray boxes on the roadside. They also have very clear signs just before them.
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE

French speed cameras are great, normally they are in the centre of the lanes deviding oncoming traffic and they photograph you from the front Be aware of Orange vans (transit size) on major autoroutes as these are mobile camera units.

Where are you going at the end of the month? We are going to Belgium, and France again for a week on the 30th. Where are you sailing from?
