    and finally

after much research and test riding (and the near death of my winter rat) I have finally got me a new Varadero just waiting for the weather to clear a little to pick her up from B&M (touch wood next wednesday. It is my first ever brand new bike in 20 yrs of riding and i am a little nervous about the running in period- although i have heard that bikes these days dont really require running in in the old sense of the word any tips (real ones) would be gratefully accepted
    P.S happy new year

    Welcome to the forum.
Just ride it sensibly, do not do full throttle wheelies and enjoy the bike.
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE
