    Smile Transalp siezed

Just joined the site,, in a pickle. My Transalp just seized up. Its a 1999 anniversary model and in good condition. Trying to find an engine but no luck so far. Oh wot to do!!. Should I sell it for parts or replace the engine, but that will cost a few bucks as I can't do it. Found a good mechanic who used to race bike but now retired. Any advise would be grateful.

    Hi,
You could try posting in the transalp section as you may get some good advice there as not all seizures need a complete engine and box. If you do decide to go for a replacement engine or break and part out your bike you could do a lot worse than to post adverts in the for sale and wanted sections (You will need to subscribe before posting wanted or for sale posts though)

    And welcome to the forum.

    Welcome to the forum.
It is not the end of the world.

    Well I hope not.
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE
