    Welcome Joe,

Do a site search on the word 'Thetford' and you'll find tales of greenlaning fun amongst site members. You'll need to subscribe, mind... I dare say there'll be another arranged soon. I know of at least one member in North Norfolk: you're never alone with XRV!

    Tristo,

    Yep, UK is just fine.

We are departing on Tuesday 17th May and hopefully flying home from Honkers Friday 15th July.

China is proving problematic at the moment, but I am hopeful of a solution.

We may have to make an alternative route through the 'Stans', India, Thailand, Malaysia and home from Singapore. Unsure about whether we can get through Burma.

Anyway, email me on andy-n-andy@aapt.net.au and we'll chat.

    Cheers,
    Tricky

    Re: New members

    Hi everyone o/

The name's Bill and I've been a fan of motorcycling for a good 10 years but with without a decent bike to speak of. I started off with a scooter for pottering around London (mainly commuting) and never really thought I'd be capable of passing the full bike test. After 6 years the scooter had pretty much fallen apart so I moved on to a 125 with gears - a 2-stroke Yamaha DT125X. This was great fun and perfect for London, but I always wanted something with a bit more power. Finally I managed to pluck up the courage and found the cash needed to take the test, which much to my surprise I passed first time.
Full license in hand I've just recently bought an XL700V Transalp, my first real taste of a big bike (apart from the CBF600 I took the test on), and I must say I'm loving it!
Time to go touring as soon as the weather warms up...

    Welcome Colonel!

Touring, you say? Well what could be finer than joining 99 friends on the XRV 2010 Run for the Sun?! The Longest Day 2010 - Honda Trail Bike Forums

Hope to see you out and about at London events (if we ever get around to organising them!!)

    Welcome to the forum.
We sometimes have meets at the ace and in the summer month at Rykas, keep an eye on the meet up and ride out sections.
