Long time lurker first time poster.

Looking at buying a Trannie 600, preferanly early 90's to '93, for a quick jaunt across Europe, Russia, Mongolia and China with my brother-in-law.

The ride starts in the UK so bike must be located there.

Previous rides have been XTZ660, Tengai and XT600, so I am not a virgin

Must say from what I have read, great site, extemely informative posts and a very willing bike community that just want to help out felow riders - well done. Its a honour to join you all.

    Cheers,
    Tricky
Whoo Hoo - I just got me a Trannie!!!

Its an '87 in very good nick, with only, get this, 34,000km on it!!!

I will have to ship it over from Perth (for you yanks that's like shipping from San Diego to The Big Apple), and as soon as I have it, I will post pics.

I have decided to call him Tobermorey, after the famous Womble of the same name (Poms will instantly know what I am talking about).

    Stay tuned, accessories to follow.

    Cheers,
    Tricky

P.S. Can you tell I am really excited??

Looking forward to those pictures, though make sure you download them from the correct 'Trannie' folder on your computer!
