Hi there, been a peep for awhile now, got my AT last Friday, immaculate condition, 11300 km's on. What a bike!
Live in South Africa, semi acrid Karoo region, wide open spaces to go and ride. A Africa Twin was always my dream, now I own my dream, it's racing black.
Did 800 km's since I got it, today 60km's after work, sundowner cruise. woooooooooooooowww!

assume that everyone else on the road (and a fair few of those on the pavements) is out to get you

I wouldn't do that.

Posted a question a while ago and just wanted to say hi again and thank you for all the help members gave me.
I live out in Dubai, UAE so if there are any members here who'd like to meet up, get in contact and we'll plan something for when the weathers a bit better.

Hi FatFergie, no I do not know if the tyres was named after the Karoo but if its got a hell of alot of knobbies on it then yes it can be
Yea here I got alot of options to go and ride, did go out on the tar road with a local on a Kawasaki 600 roadbike, I do not know why some of the roadies like to fall back 1km or so then thunder past one at 200km/h only to fall back only to do it again.....!!!!??? Is this fun? Looks like their options is really limited, I was enjoying myself at 140 km/h and just there and then decided to go offroad just to shake him off, we can go in one direction and return on another road, lots of options, see more do more!
