Hi and welcome Uncle Nick. Stupid questions not a problem - it's the stupid answers you need to watch out for here .

Post away...but don't expect too much sense in response .

Hello and welcome to the forum.
All your questions will be answered, just do not expect the answers to be relevant.

Heres a quick one though Ive noticed some of you out there want to expand your tank ??? there is a firm in hartelepool that I enquired to & they thought it would be no problem theve got a good site & are really helpful - www.fueltanks.co.uk Ive not taken the plunge yet but an extra 5-6 litres means longer in the saddle, cost about £250 ish ( only a qoute ). any one got any fuel improvement/power ideas for an 03 TA ?????

    Welcome Collin.

That fueltanks product is very impressive, but you are going to run into trouble with an Alp as the finished product isn't going to line up with the fairing unless there is a lot more (expensive) fabrication or a completely different means of expanding the tank than the pictures show. A pity, cos I got HUGELY excited when I read your first note!

Good to see another Alper to enjoy this weather!

Hi Coppsie. Welcome. Can't answer the tech questions, but lots on here who can & will. If you don't get a reply here, post on the AT section. Meantime, you'll soon find out there's a strong Irish contingent here who'll soon make themselves known .
