    Re: insurance question?

Actors are also a high risk category but I don't know why - I'm not an actor by the way - have a friend who is one

Whealie or Bikesure are the people to help

Life assurance would be classed entirely differently

02 RD07a RWB, Powerbronze tall screen, Remus Grand Prix, TT crash bars, TT pannier frame, Zega style panniers, Alpos top box,TT bar risers, TT headlamp guard, Heated grips, mainstand, Heidenau K60s for road and light offroad, TKC80s for the dirty stuff, Scottoiler, Autocomm, TT Zumo mount, Zumo 550 and most of all A BIG GRIN !!! Oh, and a very nice RD04 HRC coloured Marathon Replica

    Re: insurance question?

It varies. Journalists used to be considered high risk. The myth was that they (we) all drank so much we were likely to be behind the wheel plastered.

Actually it was all down to third-party liabilities. The underwriters feared we might be giving some celebrity a lift to a photoshoot or something and have an accident.

If you break Elton John wrist in a slow speed shunt and he has to cancel a world tour, that's a lot of risk for your insurer.

Third-party liability is the big issue, who might you injure if you do crash.

The biggest motor insurance claim was the rail crash caused by the driver of a 4X4 falling asleep.

I have seen press releases about this and it is always weird thing like window cleaners who top the list (if you ignore footballers)

    A couple of releases:
Britain's most dangerous jobÂ*-Â*Insurance advice with Norwich Union | MSN Money

Footballers 'pay the most' for car insurance - Car Insurance News News from Cornhill Direct
Whealie (Wing Commander, @ Airborne Division)
    Two XRV750-M ('91) RD04s on J ('92) plates.
Laser Pro Duro, crash bars, bark busters, heated grips, GPS, topbox, Alu Boxes, Scotoiler, Starcom, ciggie lighters and XRV stickers.
