It varies. Journalists used to be considered high risk. The myth was that they (we) all drank so much we were likely to be behind the wheel plastered.
Actually it was all down to third-party liabilities. The underwriters feared we might be giving some celebrity a lift to a photoshoot or something and have an accident.
If you break Elton John wrist in a slow speed shunt and he has to cancel a world tour, that's a lot of risk for your insurer.
Third-party liability is the big issue, who might you injure if you do crash.
The biggest motor insurance claim was the rail crash caused by the driver of a 4X4 falling asleep.
I have seen press releases about this and it is always weird thing like window cleaners who top the list (if you ignore footballers)
