650 Transalp good first bike...

I have been riding bikes since I was 16 when I got my Derbi senda 50cc bike which means I now have 1 years no claims bonus...

I was considering buying a brand new Kawasaki er6f at around 5 grand..

I changed my mind and bought a 2001 650 transalp and it cost me around 2800 quid.

When I tryed to get the er6f insured it was going to cost my 1400 quid for the year... But the transalp was only costing 450 quid for the full 12 months..

I was well chuffed...

Thanks

David
