Insurance claim help

I got knocked of my xt660z back in june and am still waiting for the insurance to be sorted out ,my question is this ,they are looking at repairing the bike which i am not happy with due to the fact that is was under 3 months old and still like new and if they repair it it will be classed in an insurance catergory (dont know which one ) and the premiums will go up .I have spoke to the dealer where i bought it new and he mentioned something about ,that if the bike was under a certain age and mileage and was damaged quite bad that they should write it of and should replace it with a brand new one

I've been away so missed this. Post the details of what happened, when and how much damage. Who is the insurer and broker?

It is not acceptable for you to have to wait this long anyway.

It would need to be very damaged to get a new one though.
