I was pleasantly surprised last year when I renewed. My previous insurer came up with a silly renewal (around £300 I think) for the Varadero and a few minutes on one of those price comparison sites came up with Swinton for £80 (ish) with £30 cashback.

Even the GS which was more than twice the value of the Vara only added £17 for the second half of the year.

Hmmm, you want to see the prices here in the Emerald Isle.

They'd make you cry into your beer!

It's not a case of whether we can fix it or not - it's more a case of how fixed would you like it?

Please do. The Swinton deal also gives me fully comp cover when I'm in mainland Europe (as long as my stay is less that 30 days). I'm sure with the last lot the cover dropped to third party only when abroad.

I do not think it is cheap to insure when in London, Everywhere I tried with Compare and the rest were not too different from Carol Nash but with less cover.
