    NCB Maintained on a 125?

If I changed my Alp for a 125 for a few years, would my insurance No Claims Bonus be maintained?

I seem to remember a few years ago when I downgraded to a 125 when between bikes my plan backfired as my insurance broker would not transfer my policy to anything less than 250 (or possibly 125, can't remember). Now, is this also related to NCB? Can I carry my 6 years to a 125 and then in the future go back to a big bike and still have the discount?

I'm asking as her indoors wants me to go back to four wheels for the Portsmouth/Norwich weekly commute, and I can't afford to run 2 cars and a bike, but could manage a 125 for the in-week commute around Portsmouth. Just an idea at the moment...

I think it will differ between companies. All i know is that, after a three year bike break for financial reasons, i lost all of my 5-year NCB despite going back to the same Company (who i have also had car insurance with for the last 10 years with NC). Pretty annoyed that i had to start again from scratch.

All my insurance for the last four years has counted a year of NCB from a 50cc on a CBT.
    And a year on a cg125, it's a bike on the road?

You don't stop earning NCB on small cars?
