130/80S17 Continental TKC80 on a KLR?

130/80S17 Continental TKC80 anybody ever fitted these to the rear of a KLR650?
there does not seem to be much room around the swing arm even with the identical sized Avon Gripster currently fitted

I've had that size on Transalp, Africa twin and my Dakar but can't help you with KLR.

Try sending a PM to Lootch, he has a KLR

cheers, Bob.

If you are gonna just have this bike for the "Lanes" then why not put a Karoo on it. better tyre DC.

Dunno about the TKC but the Gripsters are quite wide for a 130 (135mm wide, Dunlop 607 is 123mm for the same 'size').

Had the TKC on the KLR without any problems. Apart from it being a bit difficult to justify the price of the TKC. I'm currently running Metzler Saharas which are slightly cheaper but more of a dual purpose tyre. All depends on what you use your bike for I suppose.

Had them on since before christmas thanks mate never looked back......although I only have the Avon Gripsters that were fitted previously to compare them too bit the seem good.......just paid £64.00 from "thestickystuff" for a 140/80/17 rear which I didn't think too bad
