I contacted few of the local radio stations to see if they can do something for us, i got a response from Forth One (based in Edinbrugh), See below i have asked them to run feature for us again near the time.

i have asked about copy of the feature of the forum, but they dont think they can do that.

It’s due for broadcast on Friday 20th November between approx. 11am and 12pm and between 3 and 4pm on Forth One. It will be broadcast at various intervals on Forth 2. this may change, but you can listen live on the website, we could may get recording that way?

I have also got posters (downloaded from the longestday website) in the local motorbike shops/dealers
Murray Scott Motorcycles - they said they would put a link on there site to the longestday website also, Scott Murray Motorcycles | Driving satisfaction, cant see it at the moment.

I've got a couple of bike shops as locations I visit with work (engineer surveyor) so I've bunged a couple of bits in the boot of the car to post in their windows/on notice boards so that's most of central Scotland catered for.........

BMS - did you try 'Rock Radio' - they are usually up for anything bike related and are pretty fond of the forces too - if you did no worries and if not, I'll give it a go......

I have not tried them, i have tried forthone, clydeone, kingdom fm and real radio, you can give rock radio a go if you want. I plan to visit some of the other bike dealers/shops in the edinburgh/fife area

is anyone able a record the boardcast on forthone 20th Nov 09 (as above)via the webcast, as i travelling with work that day and will not hear it!!! or i would tried to record it
