    Lowestoft accomodation and ferries

i was hoping to book ferries and accomodation in lowestoft in the near future. Was thinking of a travel lodge or sometjhing like that, for part of the night before the ride, just to get a few hours of shut eye prior to riding in the morning. has anyone booked anything or do we all do this sperately.

also for the ferries, i had heard about some discount being available - has this been sorted yet? and what time crossing - i was thinking that to stand any chance of getting there for sunset it would have to be the fast crossing near midday - anyone else any ideas or has any one booked anything? just getting into the thought of the ride thats all, and getting excited !!

    See you all soon

I live about 25 miles from Lowestoft so am happy to act as a local liaison office prior to the event, if needed.

I also have a garden with room for 20 or so tents.

I'm not doing the run (not my thing).

Would you like a pitch for your tent down by the river or in the orchard?
