    seen en route

    First riders hitting Chester at 8.30. chatted to one Yam rider on A51, he was COLD!!

    Later...

    Now home, after leaving my layby at 9.30 needing breakfast!

    He said he was feeling the cold at that stage - he's sporting a trendy tshirt under his kit - and sod all else

    See, now a Honda rider would be fully kitted...

    I was half in mind to offer my fleece, but suggested the butty van nearer Chester for some inner warmth.

    The Beemer riders were no doubt kitted with BMW thermals

    I stood by the A52 at Bingham about 10 miles east of Nottingham between 7.00 and 8.00am.I saw a group of four and a group of three go past,no idea who they were though.

    That would have been Sean (on his not so loud) Tenere, Paul S & Pillion Meesh and me. Meesh was probably sleeping at the time even behind that racket from Sean's bike. Great weather and nice part of the green Isle.

    Hi wondered who you were, thought it was a speed camera to begin with which is why we slowed - a little
