TLD 2011 What Ride will we do - part 2!

I'm a bit gutted as I didn't realise that the route changed each year and really want to ride to and round Ireland but I am willing to role with it if I am to ride with you next year.

I'm not really into the CJ thing but maybe this'll get me to change my mind as I was planning on riding TLD as my 40th Birthday treat next year.

So, without casting an actual vote, my heart and mind stays in the UK......for now.

Great thanks. Have to say I hope they choose the two towers for all sorts of reasons , but it certainly sounds like the most fun. A party in Paris and then a tour round before returning home certainly has my vote !!!!!!!

earlier this year and now
BBC - Children in Need: Paris to Blackpool cycle challenge
radio presenters are cycling 500 miles from Paris to Blackpool in a week - does that sound like a challenge to do it on a bike in 24hrs?

I bring this up as i was chatting to friends and they brought this to my attention in a tounge in check piss take kind a way and it got me thinking

5 capitals 24hrs hours good challenge, run for the sun good challenge paris to blackpoool??? not too sure, i think i voted for this but not sure might have been wall to wall, looking at the voting only 34 people have voted for it and only 52 riders in total - is this a true representation from the forum?

sorry to create a problem but i dont want to do a run that the public could ask wheres the challenge as they see it as push bike with a radio presenter can do it in a week (3 this year that i know of) wheres the challenge to do it in a day on a motorbike

it might be too late as planning could be started but if not how about having a last vote with the top three to see if the feeling is still the same?
