Why the Scotch or something else ride???

Just a very quick thought.

how about a ride from London to Scotland and back again (in a day)

Perhaps from the ACE to a distillery?

see if we can get a decent bottle of scotch donated (perhaps 50yr old Glenfiddich or Glenmorangie) then run it back to London for an auction?

No ferries,

Hard but not impossible,

If we can get even a small distillery to donate then it could raise a considerable amount. (big house 50yr old is around £5k a bottle)

similar in style to the Bordeaux and Italian Job runs (where they spend a week on a trip to collect wine and bring it back to the UK)

Any takers? (Before I spend more time looking into distilleries and such)

Riding from the north-east down to London, then back up north to Scotland, then back to London then back up North.... ohh no i don't like the sounds of that, i'd be fekkin dizzy!

I agree, for edinburgh to london, to north scotland back to london then back to edinburgh............... I give that a miss
