E2E competitors.

I was on MCN web site and came across a post about this.

http://www.heavencanwait.uk.com/default.asp

Looks like were not the only group doing this.

Well we're up to 41 now.

I see they are doing it 'en masse' with Police outriders, back up vehicles, etc........

Re: E2E competitors.

it does not matter about records, its about raising awareness and funds for two needy charities. But I bet they dont have a respected deputy head on an XR doing an impression of a red missile, and a German with another invasion force.

Our sentiments exactly

I'm from 'the other lot' by the way which might be obvious from the avatar but I thought it only courteous to say hello to you all, not least since we are both doing something very similar and truly worthwhile.

We don't yet have a forum but should hopefully be getting a 'blog' facility added to our site soon, giving visitors the chance to leave comments - not as good as vBulletin of course, but spare time is hard to come by!

Anyway, don't wish to drone on, but I'm more than willing to talk to your organisers and share ideas that could save us both time and maybe, with any luck, increase the level of money we both raise. We certainly don't feel in competition with anyone so I wish you all the very best of luck with your own ride.

You are all more than welcome to register with our site for a newsletter in order to enter the prize draw - there's no selling of emails for spam or anything even remotely dodgy (but then I suppose I would say that, wouldn't I?).

John.

Re: E2E competitors.

John.

Forgive me if I came across wrong.

As everyone has stated its about doing good and raising money for charity.

I notice we are doing our run a month before yours. I am sure we can pass on any info that we gain on the day that might help you all.

Have fun and don't forget the Red Bull.

No, you didn't at all, I only quoted from the later post to show there was certainly no grief felt - and clearly that is the same for both groups.

I have Stormforce8's phone number and we are hopefully going to have a natter this weekend. I think we can help each other.

I found this thread after looking at our Google Analytics (now THAT'S a learning curve!) which showed several hits on our site which came from yours. You've helped us with our SEO, if nothing else
