It's not a case of whether we can fix it or not - it's more a case of how fixed would you like it?

Apologies for tardiness. I finally sent out an email this afternoon to people and a handful have already come back. My brother-in-law's company Rivermain and A huge GERMAN (don't tell Vader) insurance company that I do a lot of training for, Allianz (Mark Bishop) put up quite a bit.

Well done on the fundraising everybody!

If you think we can get sponsorship for it I could easy join the sulk!

Can't go to Normandy? Lucky to get out on bike for 2 hours a week at the mo. Too much "real life" happening around here.

    Things can only get better!

    Cheers Chad.

There is light at the end of the tunnel, just turning out to be a longer tunnel than expected! But at the other end there is a land of (almost) unlimited childminding and many weekends off!

So by the time we meet up I shan't have anything to sulk about,Palmer will have bought some Rugged Roads crashbars for his TA, Sharries leg will be better than new, Jaques will have organised a 2nd Normandy trip which we will all be on, petrol will be 50p a litre and beer (wine, rum, or your personal choice of alcoholic beverage) will be free for xrv.org members!

Well, the last 2 might be wishful thinking, but what the hell, aim high!

    Apologies LV, hijack over.

Congrats again to all Longest Day riders and organisers. Stunning!
