Squires is a long way up to be by midday isn't it? I think it took me five hours from Newcastle when I came back in one hit (in the rain) down the A1.
What time are you leaving and by what route?

it routes at 4hrs so if we left for around 6ish with stops that should get us there for around 12ish![]()

I was simply thinking that we have 367 miles of the M6 to do on the Saturday so I might not do those on Thursday, heading up the eastern side of the country instead, which means the A1.
What route are you planning Pete? Chad? Rovers?
My preference is for a normal wake-up and breakfast with my family possibly even delaying leaving until about 9.30. The idea was the bunkhouse night would be the more sociable of the two so I don't want to start early and have a late night.
A 9.30 start would still give me 4.5 hours to get to Squires by 2pm (196 miles and 3 hrs 16 according to Garmin) and comfortably to the bunk house for dinner time (132 miles just over 2hrs says Garmin).
That would put me at the M11/M25 junction about 10.30 I'd say so a meet just north of there or at the top of the M11 might be good.
