Assistance Request from Non-Longest day participants

As you all know the Longest Day ride is coming in 10 days, I wonder if there are people who are not able to do the ride but would be prepared to provide assistance should any of the riders get into difficulty on the route.

It may be that they need a cup of tea, some roadside repairs or a friendly face but any assistance would be gratefully recieved.

If you could let me know I will PM you for your details.

    Cheers guys

Bit out of the way to lend support, sorry.

However, my best wishes to all those intrepid souls taking part.

It's not a case of whether we can fix it or not - it's more a case of how fixed would you like it?

Oops - Just now looked at the route you are taking, so not the A1 then

Still, not opposed to jumping on the M62 to drop off an emergency whatever if required, but probably a bit out of the way for anyone to drop in for a coffee!

Although it's not on the route if someone is right in the poo it is nice to know there is a willing volunteer to help out

Really wanted to do this but had to drop out. Still I can offer assistance if required.

I'm between Leeds and Huddersfield so not really on route but can make M6 within the hour.

    Contact details forwarded to you.

Probably too far off the route to be of much use, but I'm happy to give help if anyone needs it. If any one lives near Abingdon and needs a sports massage afterwards I'd be happy to give one for free!
