official campsite at Land's End?

I know most people are staying at the Hotel, but is there an official campsite where all the rest are staying on the sat night??

I dunno what's been decided by the other campers (I'm already booked into the hotel), but I've stayed here many times before. Nice site and only maybe 2 miles from Lands End - I'm not sure there's one any nearer.

Can get busy though so may be worth booking a pitch or two.

No worries dude...it's good to have somewhere to aim for after a marathon ride like Saturdays is going to be!

Depending what time you get there, they have a pizza van that cooks fresh pizzas and pastas and sometimes a burger van too. Failing that there's a chippy halfway between the site and Lands End, and another down on "the front" in Sennen Cove itself. There's also a great pub down there.

I unexpectedly have the weekend off, so may be able to do the E2E..... is it now too late to do it (I would camp each end so no accomodation worries)? Even if I don't do the ride I'll certainly donate a hundred quid or so to a very good cause, if I can get do it I'll double the donation!

"Official Entry" is closed now, but tagging on at this late stage just means you wont get a set of personalised Rally Plate Stickers and a personalised T Shirt...should you want them.

However, there are ways and means around everything...particularly for a nice donation to the cause

I'm camping both ends. Be good if we swapped numbers via pm's, otherwise mine's on the Comms detail sheet. Bit daft camping in different places.

Anyone one else sorted a definate site?

I'v contacted the JOG Campsite a few weeks ago, they said no problem there, just turn up.

As for the LE one I hadn't planned anything, probably stay at the Sennen one Robster suggested.

Bit worried that the main drinking/celebrating will be going on at LE and I might have to travel to a campsite afterwards?

Possibly camp at Sennen and get a taxi to and from the hotel for much drinking?
