    bit late on this one..

The RD 01 did not use any oil..
checked it again and its correct.. quite supprising for a 23 year old bike.. GPS had me at 97mph at one stage !! held it at 90 a while but most of the time was at 80-90 on the Mways and 60 -80 on the good A roads

Chain fine ha its shaft drive

tappets hydraulic so no adjustment there

    cam chains fine
( they are auto adjust too but can hang up so I removed the sparkplug tubes and checked ).

1830 miles in all and it just needs a clean

ok the enduro 4s are now on the limit , and she was getting warm and fussy by the end of the M5.. but cant fault the bike.. really chuffed with the way it performed, and hope to get loads more miles like that too

    thanks again guys

    real pleasure again again

I topped my up by 500mls - so not to bad considering it got the thrashing of its life over sustained periods
