Faulty Towers ... Lands End Revisited

This morning I have spoken to the Cornwall Tourist Board - 'Visit Cornwall' explaining our concerns over the very poor treatment and service which we received and they recommend that a letter is sent to the management of the Lands End Hotel (Manager is Miss Philippa Brown) with a copy to the Tourist Board for the attention of Tourist Board Membership. Their address is:

    Cornwall Tourist Board,
    Pydar House,
    Pydar Street,
    Truro, TR1 1EA
    Cornwall
    01872 322 900

Has anyone of the organisers (Tom) decided to put pen to paper or has anyone else offered? Or have I got the job? Let me know soonest whilst it is fresh in everyone's mind.

Just to add some fuel to the fire.....

Chadster organised Lindsay a room to share with Mel since someone broke down and already paid for the room. When he got to the hotel the receptionist got all snotty with him implying he should pay again and complaining that our group keep on changing who is going to stay there and they could of sold the room on again. On this Lindsay replied but the room was already paid for in full so how can they want to sell it on again

He eventually lost it with this little bitch and found a place in the local surf hostel where we stayed for £21 including a massive breakfeast. Not only that but the owner made us dinner at 22:30 without a complaint

Now that is someone we will support again

Might be worth a letter of thanks to these guys. It's nice to say "Thank you" sometimes too. Just an idea.

It's not a case of whether we can fix it or not - it's more a case of how fixed would you like it?

Re: Faulty Towers ... Lands End Revisited

The Land's End Hotel was a ridiculous rip-off - everything that is BAD with the UK tourist industry was in that one place.

    No evening meal

    No bar

    Bad Attitude

and £65 for my half share of a twin room.

Bandit and I shared a celebration dinner of bottled water and oat bars !!!!!!!
    2011 Triumph Tiger 800 - "Black Pussy" - MMMM Nice !!!
    2000 Suzuki DRZ400S - "Ol' Yella" - very bright
    2011 Peugeot V-Clic 50cc - "Scoot" - It's my wife's, an enjoyable ride.

    I have a house , but I can't guarantee it's safe !!
