The evening before the day before the longest day...

...the southern contingent bunked up at Gibbs Hall, about 25 miles away from my new locale. Well, it seemed rude not to ride over with a case of beer in the topbox.

Had a great ride through 'Wall' country - Brampton, Lannercost, Banks, Gilsland - and was met by Lord Vader at the door of the B&B. While we were both horrified to find one of the bottles of beer had broken, I do think Pete spent a disproportionate amount of time looking for a straw or sponge to retrieve to liquid!

Could have been those bottles of beer that tipped me over the edge.
I have to find someone to blame.
It was great to see you Jim. Thanks for coming over.
Just like to point out that one bottle of beer broke on Jim\s way over and I remember Jim trying to wash out his top box in the kitchen of the bunkhouse.

Nope - beer doesn't give you a hangover that lasts for 3 days.......

But I reckon Yeti's Sloe Vodka, complete with Dangleberries......is what did for you........

That was only to stop Pete getting his head in there for the dregs!

Anyway, well done to you all.
