Is there are registration fee payable to enter this event? If so, any idea how much it will be?

Hi Knobbly.

There's no registration fee as such, but we would ask that all entrants make a personal donation to the charity and do their level best to raise as much sponsorship money as possible.

Personalised (numbered, country of origin and bike make) decals for your bike and personalised T Shirts will also be available to entrants – you will obviously have to pay for these! Any profits from these will also go to the charity.

Other than that you just need fuel and ferry money and a bed at either end and you're good to go

there seems to be a slight typo on the sponsor forms they say 2008 not 2009, just thought someone should mention it,

I'm sure that liquid paper was invented for just this reason

One other minor point, and this is no criticism as the work done is excellent

Tax relief in the tax year 08/09 and 09/10 is 20% which is down from 22% in 07/08 when the original forms were done

This means the figure of 28p for every £1 donated needs to be amended to 25p so as not to mislead any figures, forecasts or expectations
