Raymo's raised a good idea and a nice to have point
I had no 10 last year and if possible would like to keep the same
Does anyone else have preferences like these?
What ever the outcome I won't be put out if I can't have no 10
Cheers all
Paul

Caffrey - The greatest dog in the world.
Robster, i see you point in trying to not cause confusion but early opinion seems to be swaying along the lines of people wanting to keep there own numbers from last year and all that will happen is we will get lots of people contacting other people to swap for there number and this will most likely cause more confusion.
Besides, we did the even last year so i think priority should go to the veterans on this one, now gimme my damn number! lol
874 Miles in one day...need a bit of a rest first!
If everyone from last years longest day was to participate in this years event then i could see SOME sense in keeping the same numbers but there are only some of last years warriors in for this years event.. and it doesn't really matter that your bikes are still stickered up because they have last years JOG to LE details on them and need to be removed from your bikes anyway and replaced with this years ride five capitals so i have to agree with robster on this one and anyway i think should be left to the organising comittee ... at the end of the day, we're not motogp riders, we dont need a specific number to identify us through obscure leathers and new bike graphics to our fans because we haven't got any bleedin fans and there is more important matters that need attention than making sure the sentimentalists get the number they had before....![]()
....and so it begins, lets have a vote, no a poll, no a demonstration, NO lets break into buckingham palace, climb the walls and unfurl a big banner each with our preferred number on it YEEHAA![]()
it is an organised event and as such anybody wishing to be included will have to accept the organisers decisions which are made for everybody as a whole...
