Tom my only thought would be that it may be worth running this by an insurance / legal bod just to make sure that liability remains with the rider and those organising don't end up getting stuffed with problems later

What criteria are you going to set for qualification .

Who will check the ride is kosher ( Oy Vey ! ).

are you having set routes i.e Le JoG.

I cant believe that - the days nearly gone already - my only leave day left - how does that happen.

14-18 hour days feel like 2 days rolled into one and never end, but a leave day goes whoosh
