Actually can I suggest that we don't post refusals here or do the comms in private to let organisers know.
These are tough times and we shouldn't be publicly berating any company for not taking part, not that I'm saying that was the intention here, the post was purely informational I know.

Our site is very heavily indexed by Google to the extent that any content is very quickly available on the Internet for all to see and find within hours. So if we're not careful a search of a particular company might turn up our post on the first page of hits on Google. That might dissuade the company from sponsoring us in the future.
