    Just a note of thanks....

I know we have so many people to thank for so much, but I just wanted to record my personal thanks to a few - it never seems right in one way, I know, because there will always be someone that was not mentioned, but take it as read I thank you all for a wonderful ride, great camaraderie, support, encouragement, laughs and smiles .... but.. especially to

BTBloke for the company on the ride through the night to Edinburgh

Yeti for the offer of floorspace and bacon buties. We never got there because we somehow ended up on the wrong side of the country

Grumpyoldgit for just walking up and handing me a drink of redbull as soon as I got to Calton Hill .... that was sooooooooo needed and appreciated

BTBloke for taking an interesting but brillant road to Troon and getting us there in time

Boris, for reining me in when I was heading in the wrong direction

Sean for the offer of a bed for the night - sorry we never got there

Sean again for the much needed ''wake-up'' lucozade on the ferry

Craig, for carrying the tent for so long for me

Sharrie for the hug when we got off the ferry

Gerry (I think, sorry if I got your name wrong) for meeting us at MAW Dublin and escorting us to the motorway and on to Ashford.

Those who made the effort to get up at silly o'clock and welcome us home

Digitalcaptive for such brillant finishing pictures - what a great record to have

Everyone I chatted to and rode with, met for the first time, and caught up from last year; without you all the ride would have been so much the worse. You all make it what it is, and make it all worth while. It is a real privilage to know so many good people.

    Thank you, one and all.

I wondered who that was. You were on your way back to Edinburgh I thought you might have forgotten something.

Now I know it's you and you had been up all the night before simply getting to the start you have the best excuse in the world for getting a little lost. Kudos my man.

Oh. And if you get a chance show Craig how to pitch that Khyam tent. Watching him pitch it was like watching a man being attacked by an octopus

Hardly worth the mention compared to what you all did ,but much appreciated

It good to see so many like minded people out for a spin ,and doing it for a good cause.

Great to hear you all got home safe and sound ,allbeit a tad saddle sore.
