Why you are doing this
I have an unexplainable fascination for the longest day in our year, where the beautiful British twilight seems to go on for ever. And I like, no, I love!, riding with groups from xrv.org too. But most of all, J-o-G to L/E has almost magical associations in Britain that the opportunity to do it was just too much to pass up. Oh; and raising a bit for charity is a cool reason to do it!
What you think will be the hardest thing about it
Dealing with numb bum and staying alert for such a long trip in one go will be a real challenge.
What you are looking forward to most
Setting off as a group at dawn will be great and riding through the highlands in the early light just has to be an amazing experience.
RD07a, reg in 2001, Black, heated grips, short screen, bar risers, Scottoiler, Givi top box and panniers, DataTag, full Riky Cross crash bars, Baglux tank cover, Facet pump, mostly 200 miles to reserve and I can't seem to do much about it!
