ideas!!!!

ok, some of you may or may not know that i am entered into this years Enduro Africa in October, rather than trying to beg money from the forum (mainly cos two others beat me to it!!) i need some sensible ideas to raise sponsership. i have so far put £900 of my own cash in plus £600 from my company. I am writing to about 20 sub - contracting companies to see if they will sponser me, as well as have some charity boxes in a friends cafe. we are doing a few dress down type events at work. i am using the e2e as a fund raising event for enduro as well as macmillan and once i hit the £4999 required the balance will be given to macmillan. does anyone else have any ideas? - oh, and forget anything to do with heights!!!!!

Guess the number of beans(nuts, bolts, whatever) in the jar - 2 quid to enter, 10 quid prize or get a local business to donate one.

Pub Quiz - but also get the pub to donate a share of the takings on the night.

Richman Poorman meal - all at work pay 20 quid for a mealticket at a nice restaurant - the tickets are then put into a raffel - the richman meal is the works, the poorman meal is soup and bread and an icecream - you pay the bill and the difference is put in the kitty.
