    Torque setting...

    If any one is near to a manual (Haynes) can you please let me know the torque setting for 02 TA rear sprocket to cush drive bolts. Greatly appreciated. :P

    I think you referring to the appy torque method Jenna, tighten untill it strips then a quarter turn back

    45Nm for "rear sprocket nuts" according to Mr Haynes.
    Hope that helps, although I assume its change b4 sale time!

    not wishing to chuck a to big spanner in the works but personally i would always check all your torque settings with a manufactures manual rather than relying on the any after market ones (.. especially haynes!!) from personal experience these tend to be on the whole inaccurate and its no fun finding out after you snapped a stud off that requires 4 hours work to get the f~cking thing out!

    Have to say i worked for haynes to produce two LR manuals back in the 90's and the attention to detail was piss poor at best, when we asked for proofs we were told they were not available and they were pubished without being checked..
