Help

I've put some routes for a trip into Mapsource.
I've saved them onto the datacard

So how come I can't see them on the Streetpilot III?

Please don't tell me that it doesn't do routes like this?

Please help urgently - trip start tomorrow and guess who's been blabbing on about how great and easy it will be with GPS etc....

Ralphie,

The only way to put routes and waypoints onto the Streetpilot is by connecting the GPS to your PC

You can only transfer maps to the datacard

I suppose I need to have the thing running on batteries and connected via the serial cable to download the routes then?

So why does it have routes ticked when I save the maps to the datacard?

Is it just to confuse me?

Also - where did you read this I can't find reference in the manual?

Anyone got 6 AA batteries handy?

Yep, you need to have it on and running to do this, I think it's written in the manual somewhere, but I've seen it mentioned on other sites, and tried/proved it with mine too.
