Lootch67 got one on his AT and seems to work ok, was a bit messy but generally this is what oilers do. Best is to pm him and get some feedback

Keeping the "injectors" in place is a bit of a mission. The main problem though is that you have to keep it clean as there's nothing forcing the oil through - just gravity. I had problems with my Scottoilers "injectors" too, so all in I'd still recommend the Loobman. I haven't been using my Loobman lately as the "injectors" as buggered. Since my daily commute is only 45 miles I tend to pop the bike on the centrestand and oil the chain manually every third day. Works just as well, apart from when you're riding on a very wet road when you can end up with a dry chain. The sad reality is it would seem that none of the two systems are exactly maintenace free, and what maintenance there is is always a dirty business.

Been using "loobmen" for about 5 years now on various bikes. They're great for what they cost, but as has been mentioned the oil delivery system onto the sprocket isn't a success...it wobbles about & eventually the chain or sprocket will chew it up.

Instead I use a football inflator needle, positioned above the lower run of the chain. Fits nicely on the end of the tube and slows the oil flow down to a steady drip rate...
