    GIVI PANNIERS & frames

    help
    i've just fitted as a second hand pair of Givi pannier frames to my 2002 africa-twin right handside as you sit on the bike went on sweat as a nut but the left hand one is up tight to the side panel when i say tight i mean
    touching and there is no way you could get it off without damaging it
    anyone out there with the same problem
    or have i fitted them wrong
    HELP

    givi racks

    Hi mudplug. If you're saying what I think you mean, it is possible to take the right hand sidepanel off(exhaust side) with the racks on. It is, however, impossible to take the left handside one off without first slackening the two bolts at the rear footrest and removing the two separate bolts on the top. It only takes a few minutes when you're organised and, to be honest, it's normally the right handside panel that requires removal more often. Hope this helps.
