to easily mount on your handlebars, I recommend a windows smartphone(spv 500 etc) running tomtom mobile(can supply you with the software) in a boxit waterproof case using a bluetooth gps reciever and bluetooth a2dp dongle and bluetooth stereo headset. Thats what i run and it gives me music interupted only with satnav instructions or a phonecall. all wirelessly.
Barry I'm thinking of going this route do you have yours plumbed in to an Autocom or similar?

no i have a bluetooth a2dp dongle plugged into the phone and a bluetooth stereo headset, this gives me the wireless setup, if you have a newer phone like a spv c600, then the a2dp is already in the phone so you only need the bluetooth headset, BTW a2dp is the thing that allow you to listen to music, directions from your phone via bluetooth, without it, you can only use it for phone calls, let me know if you need the software and maps, gave copy of maps to Xander already.
Thanks guys, that's an option I hadn't considered, it sounds like a really good setup. Always hated the idea of taking calls while on the bike... *ring-ring* "Hi Mum, just on my way to *bang* Argh!"
Anyhoo, thanks for the advice![]()
