    Remus Revolution Questions

    Hi all,

So I've been thinking of replacing my exhaust (stock RD07) with a Remus Revolution, and I was wondering if anyone who has one can answer some of my questions...

So what do they sound like? I've heard they have a deep rumble, but how loud is it?

I understand the stock exhaust is very heavy, does any one know the difference is weight with the remus?

I understand the Remus has a small connection piece only, I was hoping to replace the down pipes as well as mine are rusted to hell. Anyone any suggestions other than stock?

    Thanks chaps

    D

PS. What size is the pipe? 54?

Can't answer all of the above but having had a set on both TDMs I can say they sound real deep and throaty. One was a 2 into 1 with a stainless collector and on my tdm900 2 end cans with a small connecting pipes. Very well made and fitted real nice.
Can be a little loud at times though.

    Re: Remus Revolution Questions

Fantastic sound - just what a twin should sound like. A deep, not too intrusive rumble which changes to a barking crackle if hard on the throttle (whatever a barking crackle is!!)

It does have a removable baffle, which makes it really unsociable

As to the weight issue, with the OE can removed you'll need to tether your bike firmly to the ground.......yes the Remus is very much lighter - I don't know by how much as I haven't weighed either the original Honda item or the Remus, but definitely measured in multiple kilos

The Remus consists of 2 parts - the can, and the link pipe, which connects to the original downpipes.

Have a look at the photos - a definite improvement over standard (and also a lot less heat transfer onto the Zegas as it's a smaller diameter can)

    Re: Remus Revolution Questions

Would you recommend the alloy one or the titanium ? For the Alp the alloy is about £250 and the titanium about £310, just wondering what the advantage of the titanium would be ??
