    Rack Compatability???

    Mornin' All, can I use your experience to glean a bit of info........

    Yes. Also if you have an older rack without the holder for a U-lock, you can swap it for a newer one, it's a straight bolt swap job. I pinched an Africa Twin (T reg) rack top and swapped it over on a mate's 94 Transalp 600.

    I say pinched, it was from a write off just before the insurance collected the bike. I also swapped my broken tripmeter over and supplied the owner with old tyres, chain, sprockets and other stuff to put on the damaged bike so he has spares for the replacement he was after. We even laid it on it's side and pinched back his magnetic sump plug beore lifting it up again with no oil loss.
    3 Africa Twins/280,000 miles. If it's happened to one of mine, it's gonna happen to one of yours.....eventually.

    1 Varadero/17,000 miles ridden (of 40,000 miles on the bike), it's all still new to me!

    They are the same on transalps, africa twins and dominators i think so plenty about in breakers.
