VHT - Very Hight Temperature paint, most car shops have it.

Some use stove paint, not tried this though.

The downside with all high temp paints (that I know of) are they are porus - to let the heat out, this has the downside of letting water in.....
The only way is to reapply regularly.

The best I`ve ever used is Sperex XHT which is intended for the extra heat of 4 stroke headers.
Sperex VHT was meant for cooler running 2 strokes when I were a lad.

Ideally remove the pipe from the bike.

Get all the loose cack off the pipe...ideally back to metal.

Heat the pipe gently with a blowlamp (so it`s still possible to touch it with bare hands) then apply the first coat of paint.

Leave for a few minutes then GENTLY pass the blowlamp flame over the paint to heat it without bubbling or burning it...then apply another coat.

Repeat for 4 to 6 coats then leave to air dry.

I`ve also used barbeque paint with pretty good results.

The absolute dogs is meant to be Kal Gard header paint but it`s hard to get in UK.

any of the decent motorsport factors should have it on the shelf (try on silverstone race circuit, eg trident, etc ), another option is ceramic coating, you can get DIY kits or have it done by companys like camcoat.
