    Speedo drive

    The worm drive in the speedo gearbox had dropped down about 1mm over the years and as a result the gear teeth wouldnt mech. Result: broken plastic teeth on the drive gear,(sticky cable didnt help).
    New plastic drive gear didnt cure it and it was obvious the worm drive needed to be raised in the housing. This worked! How long will it last?? Dunno! But if it lasts longer than a month it will give me time to find the £90 for a new speedo drive!!
